 Oil painting is a skill passed down from my grandfather that I am honored to be able to continue. I learned a lot from my older brother, Paul, who spent countless hours patiently teaching me! Today, I create contemporary oil paintings, thick with texture from impasto and palette knife work. My work merges modern minimalism with vibrant dreamscapes. I aim to express nature's beauty with exaggerated intensity to allow the viewer a meditative experience.

 My artwork has been used on the set of an NBC TV series and a major motion film. It has also been included in "The Custom Art Collection" prints from Top Artists; displayed in galleries in Laguna Beach and all across the US; and is held in private collections around the world. From the youngest, newest collector to the regular to the celebrity purchase- every single person who admires my work enough to want to own a piece of it is a superstar in my eyes!

I spend a lot of time disassociating in nature. From the heights of the Appalachians to the shorelines of the Atlantic and Gulf Coast. These God-breathed places are where my inspiration flows from. I find restoration in the solitude that my travels allow me and then I work to transfer that feeling into my work. My hope is to reflect that peaceful balance through my art and back out into the world for others to see- and absorb- and heal through.
